Contact form: your name, email address, optional organisation and your message.

Donations: your donation amount, frequency (one-off or monthly), chosen designation, name and email address, and the payment status confirmed by our payment provider.

Gift Aid: if you choose to add Gift Aid, your full name, home address and postcode, and a record of your Gift Aid declaration.

Donations are processed securely by Stripe. Card and wallet details are entered on Stripe's checkout and handled by Stripe directly — The Hunar Foundation UK never sees or stores your full card details. Stripe also sends your payment receipt.

• To manage monthly donations you have set up.
• To claim Gift Aid from HMRC where you have made a declaration.
• To respond to your enquiry.
• To meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations as a charity.

We share information only where needed for these purposes: with Stripe for payment processing, with the providers who host and run this website and its database, and with HMRC for Gift Aid claims. We do not sell your personal information.

Some of our service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards for international transfers as required by UK data protection law.

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including any period required for Gift Aid, tax, accounting and legal obligations, and then delete or anonymise it.

Donation and enquiry records are stored securely with restricted access and are not publicly accessible. Payment processing runs on our servers and Stripe's, never in your browser.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict its use, or update or cancel a Gift Aid declaration. To do so, email info@thehunarfoundationuk.org. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We may update this notice from time to time. The current version is always published on this page.
