Our Safeguarding Commitment
The Hunar Foundation UK is committed to the safety and wellbeing of everyone connected with our work, including students, supporters, volunteers, staff and partners.
Our approach
THF UK maintains a safeguarding policy and procedures, overseen by its trustees. We expect everyone who works with or on behalf of THF UK to act in line with them.
Reporting a concern
If you have a safeguarding concern relating to THF UK or its work, please email info@thehunarfoundationuk.org. Concerns are treated seriously and handled confidentially as far as possible.
If someone is in immediate danger
Contact the emergency services or the appropriate statutory authorities straight away (in the UK, call 999), and then let us know.
Serious incidents
Serious safeguarding incidents are escalated to our trustees and reported to the relevant authorities, including the Charity Commission, where required.
